Lifestyle Newborn Photography

Adding a new member of your family is both exciting and exhausting! I absolutely LOVE capturing the joy and excitement of the first few weeks getting to know your new baby. Lifestyle newborn portraits focus on the whole family, and are more organic than traditional newborn photography.

Newborn photos are typically scheduled when the baby is 7-10 days old, because they tend to sleep a lot during that time. If you're not feeling up to photos so soon, don't worry! I've done newborn photos of babies as old as 6 weeks, and they were still precious.

Newborn portraits can take place either in your home or in a studio. Don't worry, your house doesn't need to be spotless... you have a new baby! We will move things around as needed, and will probably only shoot in a few rooms. I like to use the nursery and a room with a large window. If the thought of prepping your home for photos is overwhelming, I also use several studios throughout north east Dallas. I can reserve one close to you, and we'll get sweet portraits of your growing family that you'll cherish forever.
