Bluebonnet Mini Sessions - Day 2 - Farmersville, Texas

Bluebonnets are the beloved flower of Texas, but they only bloom for about a month in early spring. My second day of mini sessions caught the flowers just as they peaked. Over the next few weeks, they will start to fade, and go to seed as they prepare to come back next year.

For day 2 of minis, we had to battle the Texas wind! The location I use is wonderful, because there are so many photo options. I found a little path that was sheltered by trees on each side to minimize the wind. The bluebonnets were so thick and gorgeous!
