Engagement Portrait Session at Oak Point Park in Plano

& Cottonwood Creek in Allen, Tx

I met both Bayleigh and Ryan years ago, at two different churches we have attended. Ryan's mom worked in the kid's ministry, and Bayleigh babysat my kids for me. I was so excited when I found out they were dating, and even more excited when they got engaged! When they asked me about engagement and wedding photography, I signed right up.

For their engagement session, Bayleigh really wanted a river bottom because they love beautiful outdoor adventures. I'm based out of Farmersville, and most of our creeks out here are muddy messes. I told them if they didn't mind driving, I knew of a beautiful little creek in Allen. I grew up in a neighborhood just off the creek, and we played in it all summer. They absolutely LOVED the location. After the creek, we headed down the road to Oak Point Nature Preserve for some gorgeous open space photos.

Bayleigh and Ryan were so much fun to hang out with! Their joy is contagious, and their love for each other made me smile the whole session. I'm looking forward to their wedding next summer!
